Waddan, Porter, James capture September/October CPJHL monthly awards

The Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League today announced its Forward, Defenseman and Goaltender of the Month for the combined months of September and October.



Brandon Waddan, Madawaska Valley Falcons 

Waddan, a native of Waskaganish, QC, leads all CPJHL players with 30 goals and 54 points in 11 games, an average of nearly five points per game.

On Oct. 15, Waddan tallied a 10-point game with eight goals and two assists against EOHA and also recorded two seven-point games and a pair of six-point games over the first part of the league schedule.



Adam Porter, Smiths Falls Settlers 

With11 points in 12 games, Porter leads all Smiths Falls defensemen in scoring and has helped the Settlers to an impressive 9-1-2 start to the CPJHL season, good for first place in the CPJHL East Division.

The Chateauguay, QC, product has registered two goals and nine assists this season, averaging nearly a point per game for the Settlers.



Ethan James, Essa Stallions 

James has compiled a 4-1-0 record, along with a league-best 1.57 GAA and .950 save percentage in his first six games with the Stallions.

A native of London, England, James has helped the Stallions to first place in the CPJHL West Division with a 7-1-1 mark to open the season.
