Supervisors of Officials Announced

The Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League would like to welcome Lucas Cacciotti as Supervisor of Officials - Eastern and Rich Wand: Supervisor of Officials - Western.

Lucas Cacciotti  (Ottawa, Ontario) has been involved in the hockey world for over 16 years starting as a player with minor hockey. For 11 years he volunteered his time to help out minor hockey leagues and teams. His volunteering included sitting on 3 different executive boards; LMHA, D9RA, and GHA and coaching the school hockey team. For the past 6 year, Lucas has been a hockey official and is currently at Level 3. Lucas has utilized his hockey experience and knowledge to run a successful summer hockey league for house league players which he started with his father in 2011. 

Rich Wand (Barrie, Ontario) has served as one of the top officials in every league he has been a part of and looks forward to bringing that experience to CPJHL Hockey. His commitment to this new role, reflects over 25 plus years of dedication to the game of hockey in various roles and he welcomes the challenges that CPJHL  will bring.

Rich's hockey career includes such honours as rookie of the year in the CIAU-OCAA while a member of Humber College at Guelph-Humber. Rich also received the association’s MVP for its varsity program, plus being named as a two-time all-star. He was presented with the GH's leadership Award and Hawks Heart Award for most outstanding student athlete.

Mr. Wand currently resides just outside of Barrie, Ontario with his wife and kids. He is also in the promotional business as an account executive with South Paw Canada and is a local community volunteer firefighter.

"I think the CPJHL has taken major steps today with the addition of Lucas and Rich.  It provides us with another layer in our Hockey Operations which will add more professionalism to our league."  state Commissioner Bryan Elliott.  "We are here to not only develop hockey players, but we also want to develop Officials and Coaches."
