Stallions reach across pond to United Kingdom for latest recruit Thacker

The Essa Stallions have come to an agreement with Marcus Thacker, a 2002-born forward from Hull in the United Kingdom.

Thacker will be another one of the "Brits" to come across the pond to seek success with the Stallions organization.

"We've had some great success recruiting players from the U.K., and we hope that Marcus is no different," said Stallions head coach and director of hockey operations Sylvain Cloutier, also a former player in the EIHL. "We're going to work together and help him develop into a reliable player for us down the road."

"With who we have coming back, we expect some more good results and hope that our side can continue to be competitive in our conference and our league," added Essa GM-assistant coach David Lang.

Thacker played the last season for the Kingston Sharks U18 team in Hull.
