The Essa Stallions have re-upped with one of the notorious grinders of the club as forward Ryan Boose will be returning for his final season in 2018-19.

"We're very happy to have Ryan back," said Stallions head coach and director of hockey operations Sylvain Cloutier. "It is truly amazing to see the amount of improvement this young man has made since coming to the club. He continually works hard in practice and does what we ask of him with no questions asked. I think he is going to be a key checking forward for us, with some PK time. His speed is something that allows us to put him in some different situations. It's nice to have."

"Boose is one of those guys you love to have on your team, but hate playing against," added Essa GM and assistant coach David Lang. "He's quite good at what he does, and he brings an element that we love and need for this club if we want to be successful."

In 79 games with the Stallions, Boose has tallied 12 goals and 20 assists for 32 points, along with 106 penalty minutes.
