Settlers' Henri, Stallions' Spencer, Barrett selected CPJHL Players of the Month for February

The Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League has announced its Players of the Month for the month of February.


Dylan Henri, Smiths Falls Settlers

Henri tallied 16 goals and 12 assists for 28 points over 11 games for the Settlers last month.

A St-Roch-de-L'Achigan, QC, native, Henri had a six-goal, three-assist game on Feb. 8 against Le Buffalo de Ferme Neuve, and also posted a three-goal, four-assist performance on Feb. 22 against Le Becard de Senneterre.

The 2001 birth year finished fifth in the CPJHL scoring race with 42 goals and 42 assists for 84 points.


Sammy Spencer, Severn Stallions

In February, Spencer registered six goals and three assists for nine points in 11 games for Severn and Muskoka, which included a two-goal game Feb. 14 against the Stallions.

The Rhinelander, Wisc., native and 2000 birth year finished with 17 goals and 33 points in 35 games on the season, good for second in defensemen scoring in the CPJHL.


David Barrett, Severn Stallions

During the month of February, Barrett went 3-2-0, with a 1.65 GAA and a .942 save percentage with a 24-save shutout Feb. 19 against the Langton Royals.

A 2002-born product of Angus, Ont., Barrett went 8-5-0 this year with a 3.11 GAA, a .922 save percentage and two shutouts. His GAA was good for fifth in the league and save percentage was good for second.
