Seaforth inks young defenseman Richichi, forward Airo-Watt for 2019-20 CPJHL season

The Seaforth Generals have announced the signings of defenseman Patrick Richichi and forward Aloupa Airo-Watt for the upcoming 2019-20 CPJHL season.

Richichi, a 2004 birth year, is a 5-foot-8, 155-pound righthanded shooting rearguard who hails from Willow Grove, Pa.

He played for the Upper Dublin Cardinals in the USHS-Penn League in 2018-19.

“Adding a young recruit like Patrick is a hidden gem for us," said Seaforth GM TJ Runhart. "He’s going to adapt and jump into the lineup right away. His dedication and attention to detail when it comes to hockey will definitely help with his development.” 

Airo-Watt comes from Kuujjuaq, Quebec, and is a 2003 birth year. The lefthanded shooting Watt will fill a spot that lacked last season. He'll the season at 5-foot-11 and 155 pounds. 

“Aloupa is a player who has experience playing with some of our other signings last season," said Generals coach Norm Maracle. "Knowing some of his teammates will make the transition to juniors easier for him."
