The Langton Royals have announced the signing of Czech-born forward Matej Neckar for the 2020-21 CPJHL season.

"We are really excited to have Matej here next season," said Langton coach-GM Jason Do Paco. "He came recommended to us from a previous player. He will bring work ethic, intensity and competitiveness to our team. I'm eager to see what he is like.

"I am told he will add to our lineup and be an impact. We can't wait to get him here."

A 2003 birth year, Neckar skated the past two seasons in the Czech Republic for the Orli Znojmo 16U and 18U teams.

"I want the best for my career and feel this (Langton) coaching staff can help me best," Neckar said. "I scored a bit last season and that's what I want to focus on, improving my game. I have good hands and good vision, but I feel I can get faster and better around the net finishing my chances."
