The Langton Royals have announced the signing of goaltender Elie Giguere and forward Gaberik Dorian for the upcoming 2019-20 CPJHL season.

Giguere is a native of Amos, Quebec.

"We are pleased to sign a veteran goaltender like Elie," said Langton coach-GM Jason Do Paco. "We spoke with some players that know Elie and all have said he is a great person and works hard every day. Elie has the attitude I like and is ready to rise to the challenge.

"Elie is just the first of pretty amazing signings we will be announcing this week. We are eager to get started and bring an exciting brand to Langton and the CPJHL."

Giguere can't wait to get the season started.

"I chose to become a Royal because I know who the coach is as I played against him last season," Giguere said. "He runs a serious team and they win and play hockey. I'm here to develop and work to earning a spot at a college or university."

Dorian (pictured above) is a local product who will fit in well with the Royals.

"Gaberik came recommended to us by another player on the team," Do Paco said. "We are told he works hard at everything he does. After speaking with him, he seemed very eager to accept the challenge. We are happy that Gaberik is now a Royal and are excited to start the development process with him."

Dorian echoed his coach's comments.

"I became a Royal because it seems like a great organization," said Dorian. "I am coming here to better my hockey ability and to develop as a young man. Coach Jason's program seems like it has got everything from all the hockey, to education, to community work and helping with all sorts of different things. I am very excited as well to get involved with kids programs the Royals have set up.

"I hope to further my hockey career and education. I am looking forward to taking my hockey career seriously."
