Weekend Recap

Upsets were the theme this past weekend in the CPJHL. The Seaforth Generals and the Norwood Nemesis both recorded their second wins of the season with victories over the Essa Stallions and the Glengarry Highlanders. In fact, the Generals were able to defeat the Stallions again on Sunday night to make it a clean sweep over the weekend.

The Stallions did pull off a minor upset of their own as they defeated the Western Division leaders, the Muskoka Wild. The biggest upset in the East saw Glengarry shutout the Eastern Division leading Almonte Sharpshooters. The parity in the league will create some interesting games as the season continues.

Felix Stephen from the Glengarry Highlanders continues to lead the league in points with 34, while Zachery Mills from the Almonte Sharpshooters leads all goaltenders with a 1.70 GAA.
