Rebels, Stallions Take Two

The O-Town Rebels doubled up on the Norwood Nemesis with a pair of victories over the weekend.  Friday at home they were 9-1 winners and then again on Sunday they came out on top with a 6-1 victory.  William MacDonald has a big 8 point weekend for the Rebels.   The Essa Stallions won both their games against the Seaforth Generals and the Muskoka Wild and the Glengarry Highlanders were victorious in their only games.

All CPJHL teams will have this coming week to secure their rosters for the season.  As of February 6th at noon, all rosters will be frozen for the season.  Teams will be busy ensuring that they have the strongest line-ups possible heading into the last few weeks of the season and the playoffs.

Stephen Eccles from the Essa Stallions has caught Felix Stephen from the Highlands as both now lead the league with 60 points.  Zachary Mills of the Almonte Sharpshooters continues to lead the league in goals against with a 2.08 average.  Kyle Droge of the Muskoka Wild is close behind at 2.13.
