Mustangs' Brindamour, Stallions' Polhill, Becard's Chouinard garner monthly CPJHL honors

The Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League has announced its Players of the Month for the month of November.


Yannick Brindamour, Maniwaki Mustangs

Brindamour tallied 13 goals and 27 points over eight games for the Mustangs last month.

A St-Lin, QC, native, Brindamour registered at least one point in each game last month, highlighted by a nine-point performance (three goals, six assists) on Nov. 30 against Le Buffalo de Ferme Neuve and a seven-point game (three goals, four assists) on Nov. 15 against the Muskoka Anglers.

The 1999 birth year is currently second in the CPJHL scoring race with 25 goals and 33 assists for 58 points.


Gage Polhill, Severn Stallions

In November, Polhill registered one goal and nine assists for 10 points in seven games for the Stallions.

Last month, Polhill posted three multi-point games, including a one-goal, four-assist performance on Nov. 29 against the Scarborough Wexford Raiders.

The Innisfil, Ont., native has two goals and 19 points on the season.


Antoine Chouinard, Le Becard de Senneterre

During the month of November, Chouinard went 6-1-0 and posted an 11-save shutout on Nov. 17 against Le Buffalo de Ferme Neuve.

A 1999-born local product from Senneterre, PQ, Chouinard recorded a .863 save percentage and a 3.24 goals-against average.

Statistically, Chouinard leads the league with 12 wins and is tied for the league lead with two shutouts. He is third in the league with a 2.68 GAA and sixth in save percentage with a .905 mark.
