Maniwaki makes international splash, inks Georgia-born forward Vedyapin for '19-20 campaign

The Maniwaki Mustangs have announced the signing of forward Temuri Vedyapin, the first player from the European country of Georgia to suit up for the CPJHL club.

Vedyapin, a 2000 birth year, is expected to be in the lineup next weekend for the Mustangs.

Back in the 2016-17 season, Vedyapin won a bronze medal at the Division 3 World Junior Championship.
