Luptak, Ostrowski, Fritz selected CPJHL award winners for the month of November

The Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League today announced its Forward, Defenseman and Goaltender of the Month for November.

 

FORWARD OF THE MONTH

Kristian Luptak, Bracebridge Pioneers

The second-leading scorer in the CPJHL, Luptak averaged nearly two points per game as he compiled 21 points last month on 10 goals and 11 assists in 11 games.

A native of Zvolen, Slovakia, Luptak has totaled 23 goals and 46 points through17 games heading into December.

 

DEFENSEMAN OF THE MONTH 

Dakota Ostrowski, Maniwaki Mustangs

Though he played just four games in November, Ostrowski was productive in registering a pair of goals and four assists for six games with Maniwaki.

Overall, Ostrowski is the top-scoring blueliner in the CPJHL and the Kitigan Zibi, QC, native has three goals and 25 points in 13 games thus far.

 

GOALTENDER OF THE MONTH 

Kyle Fritz, Smiths Falls Settlers

The Settlers went undefeated last month and Fritz played seven games, allowing two goals or fewer in all seven contests.

The Saint-Laurent, QC, product is 15-1-0 this year with a 1.92 goals-against average, a .916 save percentage and one shutout. His 15 wins lead the league, while his GAA is third and save percentage fifth.
