Ice Wolves sign 'dedicated hockey player' Opikokew for upcoming '18-19 season

The Coldwater Ice Wolves have announced the signing of forward Rico Opikokew for the 2018-19 CPJHL season.

Opikokew goes 5-foot-10 and 140 pounds and hails from the Canoe Lake Cree First Nation. 

"Rico has been a team leader all his years of playing hockey, handles the puck well and is overall a dedicated hockey player," said the Ice Wolves in making the announcement. "His strength keeps him on his skates and when he has the puck, he's a very skilled player. He's a well rounded player that will add great value to the team for the upcoming season."
