Generals bring back top scorer Scrimgeour, sign local talent, CPJHL vet Buckley for '19-20 season
The Seaforth Generals have re-signed the team's all-time scoring leader in Ethan Scrimgeour and also added local talent and CPJHL veteran Jack Buckley to the team.
Scrimgeour, a Blyth, Ont., native is back for his third season with the Gens.
Currently a freshman at the University of Guelph, after two months of insuring his grades were good enough, he made the decision to rejoin the Troops. So far, Scrimgeour has suited up in five games this season and has nine goals and seven assists for 16 points.
Scrimgeour is just three points away from becoming the first General to ever break the 100-point total for a career.
Buckley has suited up in parts of all 4 CPJHL seasons, and the Seaforth product is currently working towards a carpentry apprenticeship. The versatile forward can play the wing or centre.
In two games since rejoining the Gens, Buckley has posted one goal.
