Generals add former MJHL standout Wombdiska to lineup, will make CPJHL season debut Feb. 3
The Seaforth Generals have announced the signing of Brandon Wheat Kings AAA alumni and former MJHL Waywayseecappo Wolverines standout McKenna Wombdiska.
The6-foot, 200-pound Wombdiska hails from the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation in Manitoba. The hard-working, 17-year-old forward prides himself on his ability to score goals and punish opposing players with a physical game.
Wombdiaka will be in the lineup this coming Saturday night when the Generals travel to Coldwater, and will wear No. 19.
“McKenna is a piece we’ve been lacking in Seaforth," said Generals coach T.J. Runhart. "He is a team player that hates to lose games. His goal scoring abilities will be a much needed boost to our lineup as we march towards the playoffs.”
