Generals add Australian flavor up front for '18-19 season with Grubb signing

The Seaforth Generals have signed 19-year-old forward Aaron Grubb for the 2018-19 CPJHL season.

Grubb will call Seaforth home for his last season of junior eligibility when he leaves his Australia family home in August. 

The 5-foot-8, 180-pounder currently plays for the Adelaide Generals in the Australian Junior Ice Hockey League where he has eight points in 13 games. Grubb has also dressed in three games for the Adelaide Red Wings in the Senior Premier division.

 Grubb will making a return to Canada after spending the 2016-17 season in the GMHL.

“Adding a veteran guy like Aaron is going to help us this season as we move forward," said Seaforth coach TJ Runhart. "He’s a guy who can play the wing or center whenever he’s needed. We look forward to getting Aaron here and working with him. We believe he’s a great piece to add for the 2018-19 season."
