Former Essa standout blueliner Persson commits to LU-Belleville for second half of '18-19 season

Former Essa Stallions defenseman William Persson has committed to Lindenwood University–Belleville (NAIA) and will be joining the Lynx for the second half of the 2018-19 season.

Persson was a member of the Stallions when they won the President's Cup in 2018.

During the 2017-18 season, Persson recorded 16 points (four goals, 12 assists) in 27 games.

Persson also played for the Stallions in 2016-17, notching two goals and 12 points in 13 games.
