The Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League announced today that the Madawaska Valley Falcons have suspended operations for the rest of the 2017-18 season.
“The Falcons have some good players, but simply weren’t competitive enough for our league to see the players properly develop,” said CPJHL president Stephane Laveault. “We look forward to the team returning to Barry’s Bay next season stronger than ever.”
Any Falcons players who wish to continue playing this season, the CPJHL will find spots for them.
The CPJHL schedule will be adjusted and posted on www.CPJHL.com.
