CPJHL sending all-star team to Las Vegas Dec. 17-20 to play in WSHL's Western States Shootout

For the fourth year in a row, the Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League will send a team of players from the league to the WSHL’s annual Western States Shootout showcase event in Las Vegas.

The showcase runs Dec. 17-20 at the Las Vegas Ice Center.

“We are thrilled to once again take part in this prestigious event,” said CPJHL president Barry DeGray. “The exposure this showcase gets our players is second to none as junior, college and pro scouts will all be in attendance. We can’t wait to get out to Vegas and have another great showing that will continue to keep our league on the junior hockey map.”

Team CPJHL will play the Barrhead Bombers (Dec. 17, 3:30 p.m. PST), Bellingham Blazers (Dec. 18, 9 a.m.), Valencia Flyers (Dec. 19, 1:30 p.m.) and San Diego Sabers (Dec. 20, 11:15 a.m.).

The CPJHL roster will be made up of two goaltenders, eight defensemen and 10 forwards:
