WEEKEND ROUNDUP: Senneterre, Langton, Seaforth post pair of wins over seven-game weekend

Seven games took the ice last weekend as the 2019-20 CPJHL season rolls on.

FRIDAY, NOV. 1

Scarborough Wexford Raiders 6, Severn Stallions 5 (SO)

Jarra Shifara recorded four goals and an assist for the Raiders, while Sean Quinn stopped 30 shots in goal at the Scarborough Gardens. For the Stallions, Liam Coleman scored once and added three assists and goalie Brendan Keeler turned aside 34 shots.

Langton Royals 5, Muskoka Anglers 1

Jack Dorey and Jonathan Galke each went for a goal and an assist, Carson Favel tacked on three assists and Hayden Linklater made 21 saves from the Graeme Murray Arena. Robin Ruklic tallied for the Anglers and netminder William Tisserand stopped 28 shots.

SATURDAY, NOV. 2

Seaforth Generals 5, Severn Stallions 2

From the Coldwater Community Center, Owen Haiek registered three goals and two assists and Ethan Scrimgeour added two goals and a helper. Seaforth goalie Max Hetman made 45 saves. Joshua Jones scored one goal with an assist for the Stallions, who got a 38-save effort out of David Barrett.

Le Becard de Senneterre 15, Maniwaki Mustangs 3

Jordan Riveiere exploded for four goals at Centre Sportif André Dubé, Vincent Roy added three goals and Jeremy Boivin notched a goal and three assists for Le Becard. Antoine Chouinard finished with 14 saves. Maniwaki was led by Phillippe Beaudoin's goal and an assist and 28 saves from Jean Francois Leonard and Logan Hensley.

SUNDAY, NOV. 3

Le Becard de Senneterre 10, Maniwaki Mustangs 5

At the Centre Sportif André Dubé, Vincent Roy scored three goals with an assist and Jordan Riviere added two goals and two assists to back Antoine Chouinard's 15 saves in net. Paul Fuchs had three goals and an assist for the Mustangs, Yannick Brindamour posted two goals and three assists and goaltender Logan Hensley kicked out 29 shots.

Seaforth Generals 13, Scarborough Wexford Raiders 0

From the Seaforth Community Centre, Raul Barbo picked up the 23-save shutout and Owen Haiek tallied three goals and three assists. Donald Kuptana added three goals and an assist and Ethan Scrimgeour contributed two goals and three assists. Scarborough goalie Jacob Collaco stopped 71 shots.

Langton Royals 3, Muskoka Anglers 0

Trevor Slaven stopped all 26 shots fired his way while Ismael Prudent went for a goal and an assist at the Langton Arena. Sahil Sandhu madd 31 saves for Muskoka.
