WEEKEND ROUNDUP: Scarborough, Senneterre, Severn, Langton all earn victories in last 2019 weekend

Just four games were played this past weekend and one more postponed due to inclement weather.

FRIDAY, DEC. 13

Scarborough Wexford Raiders 9, Muskoka Anglers 4

From the Scarborough Gardens, Evan Speiran scored two goals and added three assists, Brandon Jang added a goal and three assists and Wilfred Robinson scored twice with an assist. Jarra Shifara posted three assists, Marco Ferrari, Kevin Shirmaly and Davis Park went for a goal and an assist each, Josh Bishop chipped in two helpers and Bryce Ayre also scored. In goal, Jacob Collaco made 46 saves. For the Anglers, Robin Ruklic scored twice, Sammy Spencer recorded a goal and an assist and Logan Babcock added a goal as William Tisserand finished with 50 stops between the pipes.

Le Becard de Senneterre 5, Maniwaki Mustangs 3

At the Centre Sportif André Dubé, Isaiah Cooper potted two goals, while Jordan Riviere, Steven Gagnon and Alec Boutin scored one each to back Gianni Schiappa-Godard's 21 saves in goal. The Mustangs were led by a goal and an assist apiece from Sheldon Dube Ottawa and Yannick Brindamour, two assists from Jeremy Brooks and a single goal from Temuri Vedyapin. In net, Cedrick Robidoux tallied 33 saves.

SATURDAY, DEC. 14

Severn Stallions 3, Muskoka Anglers 2

Jared Weatherbee's goal with 3:15 left in the third period gave the Stallions the win at the Coldwater Community Center. Caleb Boylan and Liam Coleman also scored, Weatherbee had an assist for a two-point game, Jacob Ljungstrom chipped in two assists and Brendan Keeler stopped 20 shots in net. Joey D'Appolonia and Isaac Smith scored for Muskoka and Robin Ruklic added two assists as Turham Ramsey finished with 44 saves in goal. 

SUNDAY, DEC. 15

Langton Royals 5, Seaforth Generals 3

From the Langton Arena, Felix Mailhot scored twice and added an assist, Toby Beliveau tacked on a pair of goals and Ismael Prudent and Filip Mica posted two assists to go along with a single goal from Jack Dorey. Between the pipes, Trevor Slaven made 38 saves. Owen Haiek had a goal and two assists for Seaforth, while Ethan Scrimgeour and Ethan Gordon scored one each as Logan Bromley finished with 22 saves.
