Saskatchewan native Tsannie the latest to sign with Royals, says 'good things will happen' in '20-21

The Langton Royals have announced the signing of forward Aushtin Tsannie for the 2020-21 CPJHL season.

Tsannie is a 17-year-old native of Wollaston Lake, Sask.

"Before we started assembling this team, we looked at what we have coming back and what we need," Royals coach-GM Jason Do Paco said. "We also looked at areas where we were not strong last year. Trying to improve in those certain areas will be vital in our success. Aushtin, having played with (recent Langton signees) Jaden (Dzeylion) and Tyron (Tsannie) since they were kids, helps with our team chemistry as they will come into a room of players who have been together for a year, so it’s a bit easier when you already have some buddies with you.

"We have a family atmosphere here and we do our best to help every player pursue their dreams. Aushtin will bring some size to the lineup as well as some grit and a scoring touch. I'm excited to have him here, as is the rest of the organization."

Tsannie is excited to further develop his game in Langton.

"Becoming part of the Royals is a good opportunity for me to better my future," Tsannie said. "My goals this season are to complete what I am starting and progress my schooling and hockey career. I'm here to work hard and have fun - good things will happen."
