Raiders add to improving team with signings of Green, Park, McGinnis for 2019-20 season

The Scarborough Wexford Raiders recently announced the signings of three players for the 2019-20 CPJHL season.

Scarborough's newest players are forwards Dalton McGinnis and Davis Park and defenseman Ben Green.

McGinnis "adds so much depth and speed to the Raiders offence. He is a workhorse with a never-give-up attitude. We look to him as a veteran presence who can play on both sides of the puck, while also being an enforcer. All in all, a huge signing for the Raiders championship roster," according to the Raiders.

Regarding Park, the Raiders add another local product who last played for the OJHL's North York Rangers.

"Another huge hometown signing that local fans will be excited for," said the Raiders. "With this signing, the Raiders will add tons of star power to their lineup. Davis understands what it takes to be a pure goal scorer. With a Telus Cup national championship to his name, and experience in the OJHL, we expect him to make a huge difference. Davis will surely be a household name in no time."

A Scarborough native, Green is best described as "a fearless defender that adds grit and heart on the back end. Clearly, a guy who will never back down, opposing players have a lot to worry about when coming down on Ben’s side," said the Raiders.
