Langton brings in talented defenseman Thomas from England for upcoming 2019-20 campaign

The Langton Royals have announced the signing of defenseman Lennon Thomas for the 2019-20 CPJHL season.

The 5-foot-10 Thomas comes to Lanhton from Redcar, England.

"We are very excited to add Lennon to our roster," said Royals coach-GM Jason Do Paco. "At a young age, he excels and has the poise of an 18-year-old defenseman. He comes from a strong hockey background and has a great knowledge and work ethic for the game. We are really fired up to develop Lennon."

Thomas said he is thrilled to have this opportunity with the club.

"I cannot describe the feeling - it's something I never felt before," said Thomas. "I would like to be successful in my development and hope to play the highest level of hockey possible in North America. If that doesn't work out, I would like to play for the Sheffield Steelers like (Arizona Coyotes prospect and Peterborough Petes forward) Liam Kirk."
