Langton adds another McDonald for '19-20 season, wants to 'make myself a better player'

by Matt Mackinder

The Langton Royals have announced the signing of forward Dillon McDonald for the 2019-20 CPJHL season.

McDonald is a native of Fond Du Lac, Sask.

"Dillon and I spoke today in depth about our program and all it entails," said Royals coach-GM Jason Do Paco. "Dillon really liked our development package as well as our exposure package that we provide for all our players automatically. Dillon can play on both sides of the puck, and he can also play multiple positions, spending time playing the wing and defense last season. I expect him to bring some experience being one of our older guys, who will also help the younger guys along the way."

McDonald is pumped to become a Royal.

"I'm very excited to become a Langton Royal, to be a part of the family and to try out a great experience with the team," said McDonald. "My goals in hockey are to try and make myself a better player and to try and make it into something bigger in life and to show people on the reserves who play hockey can make it places. They can make a name for themselves.

"My hopes for this season are to score some goals, and play some solid puck with the fellas. Let's have some fun out there."
