Due to disciplinary reasons, CPJHL folds Coldwater Ice Wolves franchise

by Matt Mackinder

The Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League has announced the decision to fold the Coldwater Ice Wolves franchise due to disciplinary issues with players.

The players that were suspended have been sent home, while the remaining players in good standing will be placed on CPJHL teams to finish out the 2018-19 season.

The CPJHL always puts the players first, with safety and discipline paramount.

Our league mission statement is "To provide junior-aged players with the opportunity to develop the skills required for moving on to the next level of their hockey career."

We have zero tolerance for any kind of behaviour that detracts from this mission.
