Bird signs with Royals, who look to improve penalty kill with newest player addition

The Langton Royals have announced the signing of forward Tyler Bird.

"We are pleased to have signed Tyler," said Royals coach-GM Jason Do Paco. "I have heard really good things about him through a few of the players on our team. I am expecting a steady, hard work ethic and a feisty-type player. We will look to Tyler to help on the forecheck, as well as on the PK.

"Our PK is doing very well and we hope to continue that and improve it by adding Tyler to our lineup.”

Coming to Langton should be an easy transition for Bird.

“I wanted to become a Royal because I have a few buddies from back home on the team," said Bird. "They’ve had nothing but great things to say about the club, the staff, the billets and the fans. Everything the club does for the players is something I’d love to be a part of.”
